Who we are looking for
Deutsche Bank is looking for ambitious and enthusiastic individuals with an aptitude and a strong desire to work with technology and business, to join our Analyst Training Program in Russia. Relevant work experience is looked upon very favorably. Other qualities we seek in our graduates include:

• Outstanding communication skills coupled with conversational English and native or fluent Russian is a must.
A Technology Analyst should be able to understand both business and technology issues, existing limitations and possible side-effects of actions performed on the IT system. Accordingly, in-depth knowledge of underlying technologies and business flows is essential. Successful candidates will display:
• An understanding of software architecture/software development/software product lifecycles
• A working knowledge of C/C or Java, Oracle/MS SQL Server and/or Sybase is highly desired
• Preferred masters/specialist degrees include:
• Computer science, applied mathematics, physics or related degree
• Business/finance masters with an undergraduate degree in computer science or applied mathematics
Applicants should expect to complete their undergraduate or masters degree during the current school year (2006/2007) and be on track to receive a final grade of at least a 4.5 or equivalent. What you will do
Technological superiority is the key to success in the modern financial markets. Accordingly the Technology division plays an integral part in keeping Deutsche Bank ahead of its game. To achieve this, it is imperative that we excel in our technical skills and efficiency in meeting business requirements. As a Technology Analyst you will establish a bridge between the business users and your IT team, delivering timely, effective and error-proof solutions. You will ensure seamless integration of a solution into the overall business and IT framework of the bank. A task made challenging by the presence of different external and internal vendors spread over different time zones, countries and cultures.
Induction program
All new Analysts participate in an intensive six week induction training program. The program commences with a Global Orientation and Teamwork Challenge followed by an in depth cross divisional Introduction to Financial Markets & Products, all in the first two weeks. General Management competencies and cross Group Technology & Operations skills form the basis for weeks three and four. This is followed by a further two weeks of Operations-specific training covering such topics as:
• Payments and clearing systems
• Custody, Prime Brokerage and Corporate actions
• Operational Risk Management
• Excel
• Client Service
• Project work
Teamwork with the trading desk is vital to our success so we will expose you to relevant project work. You will also be introduced to the skills required to deliver value to the services provided to clients. The learning is consolidated with practical knowledge transferred through the integration of line-delivered sessions throughout.

Rotations
Immediately following the induction training our unique rotation program begins. All Analysts complete two rotations, one of nine months and one of six months, equipping you with the business and technical skills required to work effectively across business and regional lines.
Your ongoing career
At the end of the program you will assume a permanent position in the division based on the experience gained during your training and your career aspirations.
